Rev. H. Christian Scott was born and raised in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Harry and Barbara Scott. Pastor Scott was raised in the fear and admiration of the Lord and accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age.

Pastor Scott is a prominent public school educator at Washington Elementary, currently teaching 5th grade Science. He is a graduate of the University of Rio Grande where he earned his Bachelor degree in Education and a Master degree in Classroom Teaching.

His home church was Triedstone Baptist Church in Gallipolis, Ohio where he grew in his studying, commitment, and understanding of God's Word under many teachers, deacons and pastors. He received 27 years of mentoring from his former pastor, Rev. Melvin O. Freeman. While at Triedstone he was involved with many aspects of church ministry; choir, musician, youth, church plays, children's ministry, and Sunday School teacher.

Pastor Scott became an ordained Deacon in 2011, then accepted the call to the ministry in 2013 and later became an ordain minister in 2016. He accepted the call to pastorship in 2016. He was installed as Pastor of Paint Creek Baptist Church in September of 2016.

Pastor Scott and his wife First Lady, Stephanie Scott have three beautiful children; Jarrell, Linae and Kierra.
